Duncan Mackenzie has been announced as one of seven recipients of the prestigious Basketball England Services to Basketball award.

A familiar face and stalwart of the Archers Basketball programme, Duncan commits so much of his time not only to the club but also the wider region of Wales and British Basketball as a whole. He is both a referee and a statistician and is well-known across Cardiff and South Wales, also covering BBL and WBBL games as well as European contests.

Guaranteed you'll find Duncan at the Archers Arena most weekends during the season, either officiating or generally helping in and around the club, game day would not be the same without him. The support extends beyond the court too, be it handling the officiating appointments, supporting and running courses to train the next generation of referees or statisticians, or sitting on the BUCS advisory board, Duncan selflessly gives back to the sport he loves with so much of his own time.

Duncan we cannot thank you enough for all you do for our club but also for Wales, GB and beyond.
